| Tyler
thanks for the rescue! |

Lisa
and I had spent a great few days at the Horizons Unlimited
meeting in Colorado and on the last off-road ride
out of the weekend, my luck disappeared. The back
end of the 1100 felt bad, really bad. The seeping
oil from the final drive, the crunching sound as metal
rubs on metal and the horribly loose rear rim meant
the worst. The rear wheel bearing had disintegrated
and possibly worse> |

We'd
spoken with Tyler, the manager of Northern Colorado
BMW/Ducati Motorcycles over the last few days and been
struck by his shear enthusiasm. Now we needed his help.
Tyler didn't blink an eye when we asked for his help
and the following morning we were loading Tinkerbelle
into the back of the Dealer trailer. Tyler had offered
to drive the 1100 all the way back up to Loveland. |

|
A
few days later and Tyler had confirmed the worst. The
rear wheel bearing had gone and taken the whole final
drive assembly with it. This was serious. With phone
calls made Tyler ensured that 'the very last final drive
in the USA for an 1100' had my name on it and was being
shipped. |
|
We
were left speechless but thrilled when Tyler confirmed
that Northern Colorado BMW/Ducati would be working with
BMW NA to sponsor us not only their labor but also the
entire cost of the new final drive. |

So
to Tyler and all the staff that looked after us so well...Thank
you. See you soon. |
