Riser's

These were some of the first and easiest mods we made to the bikes. We wanted to raise the handlebars for a couple of reasons; when riding stood up they provide more control over the bike as you are not reaching down to the handlebars. The riser's were essential for me as I'm 6ft 4" and without them riding upright just wasn't comfortable.

Surprisingly the risers also helped when on road, as they raise your hand position, both Lisa and I found they alleviated a degree of upper back stiffness experienced on long runs (300 miles +)

Instructions:

1. undo the bolts clamping the bars in place. You will need to remove them completely.

2. Insert the risers and locate them securely in the middle of the uprights.

3. Locate the bars on top of the risers and reattach the top clamp using the new bolts supplied with the riser kit. You require new bolts to accommodate the additional length of the risers.

4. Rotate the bars to a comfortable position making sure that all the swithgear is accessible.

5. Tighten the bolts to secure the bars.
