Hell Braided Brake Lines

Having fitted braided lines to my 1100GS with ABS (99'). I can tell you It's worth doing.

The lines increase braking sensitivity and overall braking power, I like it anyway.

Lisa's F650GS came supplied with a braided front line, so we also put braided hoses on the back.

I did some checking before I bought as the only name I knew regarding hoses was goodridge. There are quit a few makes but I ended up getting 'Hel' lines. They are primarily made for aircraft, so I thought they'd be good enough for our GS's. A lot of racer's use them to.

The braided hoses will last 2-3 times longer than Goodridge and they come supplied coated in clear plastic, which makes them much more resistant to corrosion and wear. The ends (connectors) are stainless steel. I was advised not to get ones with alu ends etc because of possible fracture issues. Stainless ends look better and will last longer. The 1100/1150GS with ABS will need 5 lines in total if your doing both front and back brakes.
