Remus Grand Prix Titanium Silencer

The standard R1100GS is supplied with an exhaust system which litterally strangles the engine. This is in order to meet tight German noise and emmission regulations, the result is a loss of flexibility, power and a bike which sound like an electric toothbrush.

The standard system was replaced with a Remus (straight through) racing silencer and a little while later the collector box was replaced with the Remus connecting tube. The exhaust system is now straight through from the moment the emissions leave the cylinder heads to leaving the silencer.
