With the seat of the big GS 5 years old and a little the worse for wear, it was re padded and recovered and raised 30mm. This meant that the handle bars also needed to be raised 30mm to maintain what I'd found to be the best position for me.

Through recommendation we were directed to Habitat Industries in Lilarney Gardens Trading estate, who work with aircraft grade aluminum and CNC milling machines. We couldn't have asked to meet nicer people. Donovan (owner) as an ex motor-crosser was instinctively enthusiastic and what a great guy.

With measurements taken we returned to Habitat several days later to be presented with a beautifully engineered set of riser's, these things are gorgeous and made by true professionals.

I popped back several days later to get the photo you see above and was left 'specchless'...yes me speechless. as Donovan handed me a cheque for R1000.00 to help towards our next African leg. So unexpected and very gratefully recieved.

Thank you so much Donovan and Louise for you help and friendship.
