A major part of our preparation has revolved around the equipment we would take with us. We would need to select everything from camping stoves and clothes through to the right tent, which would be our home for the next four years. Most of our kit is pretty specialist, as each item has to be able to perform a number task in order to justify it being taken, due to space and weight restrictions we are placing on ourselves.
