Lisa is considered the world’s foremost female adventurer rider, having ridden longer and farther in a single journey than any other female motorcyclist in history. After riding 500,000 miles, unsupported through 80 countries and across six continents, she has unquestionably earned her place in the record books.
Lisa’s Thomas’s name is an awe-inspiring one in the world of adventure. Her inexhaustible enthusiasm, quest for new adventure and zest for life have influenced millions around the world.
Born and raised in England and the youngest of three sisters, Lisa’s passion for food and travel was born from an adventurous childhood. With her family she had seen Europe by the age of 5 and by 12 was relishing Africa for the first time.
As in internationally renowned speaker, Lisa has shared her incredible experiences and life lessons with over 100 live audiences around the globe, authored articles for top travel and motorcycle publications and made over 40 international TV appearances. Lisa is also a photographer, fitness professional, Olympic coached athlete, musician and food enthusiast.
Lisa has been diving into the cultural cocktail of life on six continents since 2003. As a self confessed ‘food-lover’, Lisa has prepared mouth-watering meals in every one of the 80 countries she has travelled through, thriving on the challenge of creating meals with depth and flavour, in the most challenging of environments. She is one of those rare individuals who not only rise but blossoms in environments of adversity and diversity.
Lisa has been honing her culinary expertise for over 40-years. Fun, flavours and originality have become her trademark ingredients. A friend said of her recently, “Lisa’s culinary creations are much like her, full of delicious surprises.”
